Abstract:

The article discusses the impact of therapy by micronized purified flavonoid fraction (Mpff) Diosmin + Hesperidin on anti-inflammatory system of the body in chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) in the elderly. Showed that in the elderly compared with the average age was significantly (p<0,05) reduced anti-inflammatory activity of the organism (as measured by the level of IL-4 in the serum). However, increasing polymorbidity leads to an increase of this parameter in the elderly and in middle age. Established that pharmacotherapy Mpff Diosmin + Hesperidin for 30 days leads to the activation of anti-inflammatory system of the body, resulting in a significant increase of the concentration of IL-4 in the serum of patients with CVI and CVI + type 2 diabetes mellitus (p<0,05) compared to values before treatment.
