The problems of public health, reduce morbidity, disability and mortality, improve the demographic situation are the priorities of the state social policy at the present stage. Disability and rehabilitation of disabled persons devoted in recent years, numerous studies in various pathologies. There are papers devoted to the disabled populations of different age groups. However, the problem of disability poorly understood. According to the Central Research Institute of expertise disability and labor organizations of persons with disabilities in boarding Russia neuropsychiatric disabilities make up more than 42%. The article deals with one of the mechanisms for the integration of disabled people into society through the system of patronage. The question about the transfer of the most well preserved and socially adapted to the families of patients for the maintenance of the rural population, education, employment under the patronage of the social protection committees. Not solved the problem of dynamic observation of this population, there remains the problem of acute occupational rehabilitation of the disabled and virtually solved the problem of their integration into society. Undoubtedly, the need to refine and update the legislation on patronage, should consider the introduction of benefits for families who have taken a commitment to patronage patients.
