Ðåçþìå:

The number of elderly people over the past few years in the EU and the USA increased significantly, partly due to the General aging of the population and the successful treatment of many chronic diseases. Among the elderly and senile age, arterial hypertension (AH) is the most frequent concomitant diseases. Peculiarities of the course of hypertension among patients of elderly and senile age in natural life situations are fairly well studied and predicted. However, due to the increase in the total number of people in older age groups trying to maintain a more or less active way of life, and increases the number of injuries resulting from this category of the population, and the theme associated with the characteristics of the course of hypertension in the elderly against the background of existing injuries, remains poorly studied. The aim of our study was to examine the effects of acute injury on the course of hypertension in elderly and senile age. The result of this work we have made the conclusions that will reduce the risks of complications with the cardiovascular system in these patients with acute skeletal trauma.

Keywords: acute trauma, arterial hypertension, elderly and senile age
