The purpose of the study, to study the clinical epidemiology of emergency conditions according to the emergency rooms of urban hospitals on the example of the city of Belgorod in the age aspect. In elderly patients in the age aspect states of emergency of nephrology and neurological profiles more frequently occurred, but in middle age it is endocrinological group. A distinctive feature of emergencies in elderly age is a large degree of concomitant somatic pathology, except cardiovascular disease in neurological emergency, which in comparable age groups occurs with equal frequency. In the age aspect for elderly patients is typical the prevalence of the following emergency: bronchial obstruction with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, acute urinary retention on the background of benign prostatic hyperplasia and catheterization of the bladder, transient ischemic attack, cerebral infarction and hemorrhagic stroke. In studying the characteristics of the symptomatology of emergency in elderly patients revealed that the most universal and frequently occurred symptoms are general weakness, abdominal pain, shortness of breath, chest pain, dry mouth, headache. Developed algorithms for nurses, based on the selection of the leading symptom, in particular, the "weakness", "abdominal pain."
