Abstract:

The article discusses the importance of competence in the field of information and communication technologies ( ict) social workers - listeners of courses of improvement of professional skill. It is shown that ICT competence is the basis of successful completion of the course, the further self-development and effective professional activity. ICT competence of the social worker, as a listener training courses need to be developed for the purposes of direct practical use in daily educational work with the elderly. The social worker must possess the skills not only to obtain an independent, evaluation and creation of new information, but also modeling their own professional work, problem solving ICT education wards. It is concluded that the program training courses of social workers in the field of social gerontology and gerogogics should include elements of the measurement and evaluation of ICT competence of students , learning the basics of ICT and didactics in the field of ICT.
