Abstract:

The specificity of military service is a high frequent exposure to stress, which contributes to the formation of a number of diseases, especially cardiovascular system. These include hypertension, coronary heart disease, heart rhythm disorders. Upon reaching the elderly, these diseases are often the cause of cerebral vascular accidents. In this case, had undergone their patients need prolonged run complex, which is an important part of medical rehabilitation (MR). Objective - To study the effectiveness of MR elderly veterans of the armed forces with the effects of stroke in the municipal clinic. According to results of own researches, medical rehabilitation of veterans of armed forces of advanced age with easy consequences of a brain stroke promotes decrease in expressiveness of a depression. Rehabilitation programs possess ability to increase resistance elderly to the stress at the expense of formation of an adequate stereotype of healthy behavior. As a result, the medical rehabilitation authentically increases quality of life of elderly patients with easy consequences of a brain stroke in veterans of armed forces, that dictates need of widespread introduction of rehabilitation programs in medical and diagnostic process of municipal policlinics.
