Abstract:

Research objective is studying of a condition of existence and statins realization in pharmacy chain. The present article represents the results of content analysis of statins prosperity of the pharmacy chain and volume of the sales. The research showed that despite of the varicosity of statins pharma market there were just 12 statin items in stock, except that the vast majority of medications of different manufactures were related to simvastatin (51,3+2,5%). While the absolute weight of hydrophilous statins was not high, the recommended for elderly cases use were: pravastatin (4,1+0,2%) and rosuvastatin (10,0+0,6%). In terms of turnover medications which contain simvastatin are out front, particularly: “Zorstat” - 13,2+2,5%, “Sinvahexal” - 9,9+2,1%, “Vazilip” - 12,3+2,1%, “Simvor” - 10,4+2,2%; next go – “Atorvastatin” (21,4+3,2%) and “Lovastatin” (16,9+2,8% in the general sales pattern). The data received show that the pharmacy chain is not concentrated on statin marketing for elderly and older people.
