Abstract:
The aim of the study was assessment of antianginal and antihypertensive efficacy and safety of prolonged BCCI - Cardio at long-term monotherapy in patients with ischemic heart disease patients: stable angina II-III functional class and hypertension I and II degree of increase in blood pressure.Antianginal and hypotensive efficacy study was performed at 40 elderly patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD), stable stenocardia of effort (moderate-severe) and 43 elderly patients with arterial hypertension (mild to moderate within 12 weeks. High antianginal efficacy of cardil was stated. The indexes of blood pressure were evidence of reliable decrease of mean 24h - , mean dayly- and mean night blood pressure both systolic and diastolic while at course regimen of cardil. At the same time course regimen of cardil had normalised blood pressure in most cases of abnormal 24h- systolic and diastolic blood pressure profile. Besides of this advantages cardil had significantly improved left ventricle diastolic function but there were no significant change in myocardial mass of left ventricle.
