Abstract:

The purpose of research - identifying the causes, characteristics and prevalence eydzhistskih installations and practices of health and social workers in the Belgorod region, depending on their belonging to a particular age group. In this paper, based on the analysis of empirical data investigator´s sociological research conducted by using questionnaires, attempt to identify the causes of characteristics and prevalence of characteristics and prevalence of ageism setting and practices among health and social workers in the Belgorod region, depending on their belonging to one or another age group. Indicators of ageism and its preconditions were sociocultural factors, institutional, socio-economic and psychological nature. It is proved that age determination of ageism caused by the experience work of specialists, influencing the level of gerontological competencies and professional identity specialists; identity of of workers with this age category and their settings concerning elderly people and death.
